A Little Christian Competition?

I don't believe in competition within the Church, football yes, but in the Church no. And because I am not in sports I am not trying to compete with anybody, I'm just trying to serve the same Lord that every other Christian is supposed to be serving.

But understand that He is not the Lord of competition, He is not the Lord of jealousy, He is not the Lord of gossip, and He is not the Lord of lies.

So, I don't know what lord some are serving, but that's Not my Lord.

I pray that we could all take this stance. Jesus Christ did not go to the cross so that we could live in competition with one another. He died and rose again so that we can live in victory and in unity with one another. We are all one body and we serve one Lord.

Remember what Matthew 12:25 says, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” ‭

In order to effectively serve Jesus then we need to stop competing with our brothers and sisters, and sons and daughters in Christ. If we are doing so then we are creating division in God's Kingdom. Let's be the type of people who can celebrate the victories of others and not be intimidated by them. Let's be lid lifters to our fellow Christians and not limiters. When you are willing to humble yourself and serve somebody else's dream God will make sure to serve your dream.

I'm praying God's very best for you!                                                                                                                        Love,                                                                                                                                                Brittni De La Mora
